Evangelism
We like to be proactive and showing the love of Jesus to the local community by:
Holding regular services at a local residential home for elderly people

Carol Singing in the Street!
A group from the church take to the street, on a often cold December evening, to sing carols which we hope are a sweet sound in people's ears!
We take the opportunity to distribute leaflets telling people of the Christmas services which are at Belmont Road and to assure them
that there will find a warm welcome. If people feel able to they can also give money to a good cause. Last year we collected money for
the local hospice
Taking Part in Operation Christmas Child
In middle November, as Christmas approaches, we think of children on the other side of the world who will not be recieving that visit
from Father Christmas. We hope to make their Christmas better by filling shoeboxes with simple gifts. The church has a co-ordinator who
checks that the boxes contain suitable items and she then drops off the boxes at a designated drop off point set up by the organisation
